Biosan microplate washer.
Scrubber purchased in 2017, efficient, not used, turned on once to
check if it works.
The Inteliwasher 3D-IW8 microplate washer is designed to wash a
variety of standard 96-well microplates, split plates such as Flat
Bottom, U-shaped and V-shaped FastFrame (rectangular well)
microarrays. The washer is a fully programmable device to perform
multi-stage work. It operates in a single point in a hole, two points
in a hole or cyclically (in a circular or rectangular path), liquid
dispensing mode, and washing and rinsing mode (in cycles of both
functions). The fluid dosing system allows dosing each of the three
independent channels for buffers separately.
The 4-CHW recorder connected to the washer provides automatic control
of the volume of washing solutions and beakers. Shows the volume of
reagent in each bottle (in percent) and alerts you when the fluid is
running out (or the beaker bottle is full).
The device provides:
- washing mode,
- rinsing mode,
- mixing mode,
- one-point and two-point suction, around the perimeter of the hole
(circle or rectangular path),
- the ability to add reagents between cycles,
- the ability to use microplates from different manufacturers
(automatic configuration - adjusting to different depths of microplate
wells),
- the ability to define programs by the user with adjustable
parameters.
The device has 50 programs divided into 5 categories:
- type 1 (1.0-1.9) IPF96 U/V for use with U-shaped and V-shaped
inserts, one pick-up point,
- type 2 (2.0-2.9) IPF96 FLAT-2 for use with flat-bottomed tiles, two
sampling points,
- type 3 (3.0-3.9) IPF96 FLAT-C to be used for plates with a
rectangular shape of the well, sampling along the circumference of the
well,
- type 4 (4.0-4.9) FastFRAME-2 to be used for split plates - in strips
with a rectangular hole shape,
- type 5 (5.0-5.9) FastFRAME-C to be used for split plates - in strips
with a rectangular hole shape.
FastFRAME - a microarray split plate that is compatible with standard
25 x 76 mm (1 x 3 in) glass plates.
The device is intended for use in closed laboratory rooms at
temperatures from +10°С to +35°С and relative humidity up
to 80% at +25°C decreasing linearly to 50% relative humidity at
E661673 35°C.
